Diversity and Sustainability

As an Employer

As a minority-owned business, certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the City of New York, and the Empire State Development Corporation, ECLARO makes a concerted effort to ensure that our recruiting efforts are inclusive, and that candidate screening is performed without any form of bias.

ECLARO is proud to have recently received the Corporate Plus designation from the NMSDC, demonstrating our capacity to execute national contracts for major corporations.

With respect to our suppliers

ECLARO works to create mutually beneficial business relationships with diverse suppliers that strengthen the communities in which we operate. We are committed to developing these relationships with small, minority-owned, women-owned, disadvantaged and disabled, veteran owned and LGBTQA businesses.

At ECLARO, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Sustainability is about our Corporate Citizenship and how we interact with all stakeholders and communities; our supply chains, strong stance on human rights, firm adherence to labor rights and minimizing our impact on the environment.

We firmly believe that it is everyone’s responsibility to reduce our impact on the environment. At ECLARO, we have developed an Environmental Management System (EMS) which details our approach to environmental sustainability and corporate global citizenship.

ECLARO expects all employees to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.  In addition, our suppliers are required to adhere to ECLARO’s Supplier Conduct Principles which outline the company’s overall social and environmental requirements.
